Q. I've never ordered prescriptions over the Internet before. What are the steps involved?
A. Ordering prescriptions online with CanadianPrescriptionDrugstore.com takes only 3 quick and easy steps.

  • Using our navigation or drug search tool above, select the medicines you require by adding them to your shopping cart.
  • Once finished your selections, click on Check Out, then choose a login name, fill in your account and shipping information.

Fax us your doctor's prescriptions using our printable Prescription Order Fax Cover Sheet. You can also scan and email your documents to us.

Q. What are my payment options?
A. You can pay by VISA, E-Check, Personal Check, or International Money Order (sorry no other credit cards). Your check or International money order must be in US funds.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Credit cards are becoming much more difficult to process due to most US cards now being blocked for International charging. We regret the inconvenience, but unfortunately we are forced to go overseas for card charging because Visa and Mastercard no longer allow card processing for Internet Pharmacies in North America.

Our preferred payment methods are as follows:

  1. Check by Mail – 5% Discount – No Delay in processing
  2. Echeck – Electronic check processing – No Discount – No Delay in processing
  3. Credit Card – No Discount - Pre-approval required – Possible delay in processing

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Check by mail:

5% DISCOUNT OFFER: PAY BY CHECK

We are offering a special 5% discount if you choose to pay by check. It will not delay the order, as we will ship your medications before we receive your check in the mail. It will actually speed up the delivery of your order as it bypasses the card charging system. You must physically mail your check to our Canadian office.

Make a check to Canadian Prescription Drugstore, deduct 5% from the total order amount, indicate in the notes section of your check: The Order Number and 5% Discount, then mail it to the following address:

Canadian Prescription Drugstore, 1275 West 6th Ave. Suite 300, Vancouver, BC Canada, V6H 1A6

The postage to Canada is $1.15

Important: If ordering online please indicate your check number and the date you are mailing your check. If refilling your order by email or fax, please inform us the date you are mailing the check and we will process your order without delay.

By Echeck:

Charged directly to your bank account electronically, just like a credit card charge. Make a check to Canadian Prescription Drugstore, indicate your order number and send a copy of it to us by email or fax, and we will charge and ship your order without further delay. No need to mail the check, keep it for your records. No discount applies to Echeck.

Credit Card:

If you choose to pay by card, please take note of the following important information:

INTERNATIONAL CHARGE BLOCKING: Many credit cards are automatically blocked for international charging. If your card is, then it will be declined when we try to charge it with our system. To avoid extra delays in processing your order we require that you call your card issuer and preauthorize the international charge.

You must call your card company to pre-authorize the charge and make sure that your card is not blocked for International charging.

You must email us back a confirmation that this was done for your order to proceed to the billing department for charging

If you have any questions or concerns with our card charging system, please contact our customer service reps.

Q. Are there any other payment fees?
A. Yes, there may be under the following circumstance:

Foreign Transaction Fee: Some (not all) credit cards charge a Foreign Transaction Fee to make a purchase outside the USA. They may be in the range of 2% to 5% of the total invoice amount. We are not responsible for this charge, and it has nothing to do with our pharmacy. Please contact your card company regarding any charge of this nature, or choose a credit card plan that does not charge this fee.

Q. Can you ship more than a 3 month supply?
A. No. A 3 month supply is the most we can ship per order, even if your prescription is written for more quantity than three months.

Q. My online order status is "Pending". What does that mean?
A. "Pending" status means that we have received your online order. Once we have verified the order and prescription, we send the documents to our pharmacist for approval and then to the billing department for charging. At which time your order status will change to "Processing", and the order will ship out in the following days. A few days after your order has been mailed, you will receive an email shipping confirmation and the online order status will change to "Shipped".

If you run into problems or have any questions about these steps, just call our toll-free customer care line 1-888-572-0832 and a representative will be happy to help you through the process.

A. The percentage savings varies depending on the medications you use. Although some drugs are as much as 80% lower, on average most customers experience a savings of between 40 - 50%.

Q. What about the safety of Canadian medications?
A. International drug manufacturing and pharmacy safety regulations are usually equal to, and often surpass USA standards. International medications are regulated by their National Department of Health, which ensures the safety of the drugs manufactured in their respective country, as well as the distribution of medications to pharmacies. Local Government Agencies regulate and ensure safety practices of licensed pharmacies.

We ship most prescription drug orders via Registered Parcel Post. There are no other handling fees, drug dispensing fees, doctor fees or customs charges.

Q. How long does it take for me to receive my order?

A. By phone, you can refill your order by calling our toll-free number 1-888-572-0832. By Fax: Print our Order Form. Complete the form. Do not forget to indicate your previous order number. You should refill your order at least three weeks before your prescription becomes due, to avoid any risk of running out of medication.

Q. When should I advise you to refill my order?
A. Because delivery can take about 4 weeks, please always refill your order with at least a few extra weeks added on to allow for unexpected delays such as product back orders, Rx issues or postage delays. Q. When should I refill my order?

Q. How many times can I refill my order?
A. Your doctor is the one that determines how many times you are allowed to refill your prescription. We can refill your order as many times as it is indicated on your prescription. Once you have received your maximum number of refills, you must request your doctor to give you a new prescription to be resent to us for processing.

Q. I have my prescriptions covered under an insurance plan. Can I purchase my medications from you under this plan?
A. Although we cannot accept insurance company payments, we provide proper receipts for you to claim your purchase back as expenses. Please check with your insurance company to verify if they accept Canadian Online Pharmacy receipts under their plan.

Q. Why are there some differences in the drugs from Canada?
A. Sometimes the pharmaceutical companies choose to use different names for the identical drug in different countries for marketing reasons. Occasionally the same drug with the same ingredients might be issued in capsule form in one country, but available in tablets in another. Also, the items may be packaged in various types of containers, or with a different number of pills per package.

Q. Can you ship any prescription drug?
A. No. Although Canadian Prescription Drugstore has approximately 3000 different medications available, not all drugs are available for shipment from our service. Drugs are regularly being newly approved and taken off the market. If you cannot find a certain drug by searching our list of medications, please contact us and we will be happy to check if it is available. Also, we do not ship any controlled substances such as narcotics, sedatives, etc.

Q. Can you provide me with a prescription?
A. No. For us to ship medications, you must provide us with a valid prescription from your licensed physician.

Q. What if I am not home to sign for my package?
A. Some shipments require a signature upon delivery. If you are not home, USPS will leave a note and you will have 14 days to pick up your package at the post office. If you fail to do so the order will be returned by the post office and you will lose your order. We will not be able to refund your money in this case.

Q. Can you ship to a country outside the USA, and how much does it cost?
A. Yes, the shipping fee is $39.95 for International orders. Standard shipping is by regular mail with no tracking number. Expedited International shipping with tracking may be available at an additional fee depending on the item ordered and the destination country. Please inquire about the cost. Note: Our 30-day delivery guarantee only applies to shipments to the USA. We are not responsible for the delivery of orders to other countries.
