Q. What is the best way to contact you?

A. Our customer service reps are available during business hours which are Monday to Friday, from 6am to 5pm, Pacific Time, Vancouver, Canada, except on major holidays. Sending an email is preferred as we can quickly and efficiently respond to your inquiry. If you wish to speak to an agent, please call within our business hours. If you reach our voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours.

Q. I've never ordered prescriptions over the Internet before. What are the steps involved?

A. Ordering prescriptions online with CanadianPrescriptionDrugstore.com takes only 3 quick and easy steps.

  • Using our drug search tool above, select the medicines you require by adding them to your shopping cart.
  • Once finished your selections, click on Check Out, fill in your account and health profile, and then choose your shipping and payment methods.

Send in your doctor's prescription by scanning and emailing them or by fax. If you run into problems or have any questions about these steps, just call our toll-free customer care line 1-888-572-0832 and a representative will be happy to help you through the process.

Q. What are my payment options?

A. You can pay by Electronic Check (E-Check), Personal Check, International Money Order or Wire Transfer. Sorry no credit cards are accepted at this time.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Unfortunately, we are not able to charge your credit card because Visa and Mastercard changed their policy to no longer accept merchant accounts for Internet Pharmacy Service Companies in North America. Some websites are still charging credit cards, but many of them are doing so through overseas banks, which can result in extra risk and added fees. And you may be paying higher prices for this privilege.

Our preferred payment methods are as follows:

  1. E-Check – Electronic check processing – No Delay in order processing
  2. Check by Mail – Approx. 3-week delay to receive and process your check by mail.
  3. Wire transfer – For International orders outside North America. Extra $40 fee

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Electronic Check Processing (E-Check):

E-Checks are charged to your bank account electronically. Our E-check system is very secure, as we do not receive or keep your bank account information. We send you a payment link by email and you enter your bank account and routing numbers by yourself on a secure 3rd party interface. Your payment and bank account numbers are not at risk as they are not kept on our computer server

Please ensure that your account contains sufficient funds at the time of ordering, as returned E-Check charges carry a $25 fee.

Check by mail:

We require checks to be received before we process an order. You must physically mail your check to our Canadian office. You can also send an International Money Order or Bank Draft.

Make a check to Canadian Prescription Drugstore. Indicate the order number in the notes section of your check, then mail it to the following address:

Canadian Prescription Drugstore, 1275 West 6th Ave. Suite 300, Vancouver, BC Canada, V6H 1A6

The postage to Canada is $1.20

Wire Transfer:

For International orders outside North America. Extra $40 fee

This is the only payment option for customers not residing in USA or Canada. Please contact our customer service department for our bank wire details. Due to high bank fees for this service, you must add $40 to the total invoice amount. Only send US funds.

Q. Are there any other payment fees?

A. No. There are no other payment fees than outlined above.

Q. Can you ship more than a 3 month supply?

A. No. A 3 month supply is the most we can ship per order, even if your prescription is written for more quantity than three months

Q. My online order status is "Pending". What does that mean?

A. "Pending" status means that we have received your online order. Once we have verified the order and prescription, we send the documents to our pharmacist for approval and then to the billing department for charging. At which time your order status will change to "Processing", and the order will ship out in the following days. A few days after your order has been mailed, you will receive an email shipping confirmation and the online order status will change to "Shipped".
If you run into problems or have any questions about these steps, just call our toll-free customer care line 1-888-572-0832 and a representative will be happy to help you through the process.

A. The percentage savings varies depending on the medications you use. Although some drugs are as much as 80% lower, on average most customers experience a savings of between 40 - 50%.

Q. What about the safety of International medications?

A. International drug manufacturing and pharmacy safety regulations are usually equal to, and often surpass USA standards. International medications are regulated by their National Department of Health, which ensures the safety of the drugs manufactured in their respective country, as well as the distribution of medications to pharmacies. Local Government Agencies regulate and ensure safety practices of licensed pharmacies.

Q. Are there any enrollment fees or hidden charges?

A. None whatsoever. You are charged only for the cost of each medication, plus the shipping fee. There are no membership fees, sales taxes or any duty fees.

Q. What does it cost for shipping?

A. Standard shipping costs a flat rate of $14.95 per prescription drug order. Standard shipping takes approx. 3 weeks for orders from Canada, and up to approx. 4 to 6 weeks from our overseas countries. We offer Expedited Shipping Service for $39.95, for which we prioritise the processing of your order, and it is shipped through the Priority Mail service with a tracking number. It takes approx. 3-4 weeks for this service. We offer Free Shipping for your first order. For a one-time charge of $49.95 you can get free lifetime shipping for all your future prescription drug orders (USA only). We ship most prescription drug orders via Express Parcel Post. There are no other handling fees, drug dispensing fees, doctor fees or customs charges.

Q. How long does it take for me to receive my order?

A. Delivery takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks from the date we receive your order, payment confirmation and all your necessary documents. Please allow extra time in the case of holidays.

Q. Should I order a 90-day supply?

A. By ordering a 90-day supply instead of a 30-day supply, you save two shipping charges for a total of $29.90. That translates to an extra 10% savings on a $250 order.

Q. How do I refill my order?

A. Refilling a past prescription online is quick, easy, and secure. Log in to your Account to see past prescription purchases. Choose the order you wish to refill and click “reorder”. Your shopping cart will open with the item listed. Proceed to checkout. Verify your address and make changes if necessary. You can bypass the health info section when refilling. Proceed to Ship and Payment sections, then complete your order by pressing check out. If you have a new Rx, please send it into us by email or fax.

Q. When should I advise you to refill my order?

A. Because delivery can take about 4 weeks, please always refill your order with at least a few extra weeks added on to allow for unexpected delays such as product back orders, Rx issues or postage delays. We suggest refilling at least 6-8 weeks before you run out of medications to be sure of a continuous supply.

Q. How many times can I refill my order?

A. Your doctor is the one that determines how many times you are allowed to refill your prescription. We can refill your order as many times as it is indicated on your prescription. Once you have received your maximum number of refills, you must request your doctor to give you a new prescription to be resent to us for processing.

Q. I have my prescriptions covered under an insurance plan. Can I purchase my medications from you under this plan?

A. Although we cannot accept insurance company payments, we provide proper receipts for you to claim your purchase back as expenses. Please check with your insurance company to verify if they accept Canadian Online Pharmacy receipts under their plan.

Q. Why are there some differences in the drugs from various countries?

A. Sometimes the pharmaceutical companies choose to use different names for the identical drug in different countries for marketing reasons. Occasionally the same drug with the same ingredients might be issued in capsule form in one country, but available in tablets in another. Also, the items may be packaged in various types of containers, or with a different number of pills per package.

Q. Can you ship any prescription drug?

A. No. Although Canadian Prescription Drugstore has approximately 3000 different medications available, not all drugs are available for shipment from our service. Drugs are regularly being newly approved and taken off the market. If you cannot find a certain drug by searching our list of medications, please contact us and we will be happy to check if it is available. Also, we do not ship any controlled substances such as narcotics, sedatives, etc.

Q. Can you provide me with a prescription?

A. No. For us to ship medications, you must provide us with a valid prescription from your licensed physician.

Q. What if I am not home to sign for my package?

A. Some shipments require a signature upon delivery. If you are not home, USPS will leave a note and you will have to pick up your package at the post office. If you fail to do so the order will be returned by the post office and you will lose your order. We will not be able to refund your money in this case.

Q. Can you ship to a country outside the USA, and how much does it cost?

A. Yes, the shipping fee is $39.95 for international orders. Standard shipping is by regular mail with no tracking number. Expedited International shipping with tracking may be available at an additional fee depending on the item ordered and the destination country. Please inquire about the cost. Note: Our 60-day delivery guarantee only applies to shipments to the USA. We are not responsible for the delivery of orders to other countries.

Q. Is a pharmacist consultation with a licensed pharmacist available for patients who have questions about their medications?

A. Yes, a pharmacist consultation is available during regular business hours, published on our contact us page. You can contact our pharmacist by email at [email protected]and you will receive a response within 72 hours of your request. If you would like to speak to our pharmacist, please leave your phone number and you will receive a call back. To leave a message for our pharmacist you can call our toll-free number1-888-572-0832, and leave a message on extension #3.

Q. Why does my tracking number give an error?

A. If you receive a tracking number, that is confirmation your order has been shipped. Your tracking number might give an error because it has not yet been logged in to the USPS tracking system. It can take up to a week or more for the tracking number to be registered by USPS. From some locations it only gets logged in to the USPS system once it has arrived in the USA, which could take up to a few weeks. If you have any concerns, please contact our customer service dept.
