You should not use Duavee if you are allergic to bazedoxifene or conjugated estrogens, or if you have:- Liver disease

- An increased risk of blood clots due to a heart condition or inherited blood disorder

This medication may increase your risk of stroke, blood clots, or heart attack, especially if you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, are overweight, or smoke and should not be used in women aged 75 years and above.

- Estrogen products, such as certain birth control pills or estrogen patches
- Medications used for menopause symptoms, bone loss (osteoporosis), or to treat/prevent certain types of breast cancer
- Progesterone or progestins, such as certain birth injections, progesterone capsules, control pills, creams, sprays, gels, or vaginal inserts
Other medications may also affect the blood levels of Duavee. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider about all the medications you are currently taking or have recently used.
How should I store it? Store Duavee at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C to 25°C). Keep Duavee in the blister pack until you're ready to take it, to protect the tablet from moisture. Do not store Duavee in pill boxes or organizers. Once the foil pouch containing the Duavee blisters is opened, the medication must be used within 60 days. Overdose symptoms of Duavee are abdominal pain, breast tenderness, nausea and vomiting seek medical help immediately or contact go to the nearest emergency department if necessary. Is it safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?This medication is intended only for women who can no longer become pregnant. Bazedoxifene and conjugated estrogens can harm an unborn baby, so do not use it if you are pregnant. If you have not yet reached menopause, use effective birth control. Inform your doctor if you think you might be pregnant. You should not breastfeed while using this medication.
