The risk of suicide in severely depressed patients is a fundamental aspect of their condition and may continue until significant remission is achieved. Consequently, patients should be closely monitored throughout all stages of treatment with Ludiomil, and prescriptions should be provided for the minimum number of tablets necessary for effective patient management.

Hypomanic or manic episodes have been observed in some patients taking tricyclic antidepressants, especially those with cyclic disorders. Although rare, such occurrences have also been noted with Ludiomil. Avoid sudden withdrawal of this medication.

Ludiomil should be used cautiously in patients with elevated intraocular pressure, a history of urinary retention, or a history of narrow-angle glaucoma due to the drug's anticholinergic properties.
