Why is Parnate prescribed?

Parnate contains the active ingredient tranylcypromine, which is part of a class of antidepressants known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). This drug is used to treat moderate to severe depression in adults. Please note that Parnate is not the primary choice for Major Depressive Disorder due to its known serious adverse interactions.

What does it do?

Parnate works by preventing the breakdown of two chemicals in the brain, serotonin and noradrenaline, helping to restore their normal levels. This medication can also assist if you're experiencing feelings of fear (phobia), which can sometimes accompany depression. It is typically used when other antidepressant treatments have not been effective.

Canadian Prescription Drug Store dispenses medications from our fully licensed and independently verified pharmacy partners around the world from Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Mauritius.

Legal disclaimer: The FDA, due to the current state of their regulations, has taken the position that virtually all shipments of prescription drugs imported from a Canadian online pharmacy by a U.S. consumer will violate the law. However, many legal experts disagree with the FDA's position in this regard stating that such importation is permitted under certain federal and state laws. Several State governments and consumer rights groups actively promote the importation of medications. The FDA itself provides the public information on how to import medications safely. Furthermore, there is no record of any US individual being prosecuted by the FDA for importing non-controlled prescription drugs for their personal use.
